Looking at moving off SageTV after 15 years…
I installed Plex on my server but it only recognised 1 of the tuners on the TBS 6205 card. It can scan and watch UK Freeview channels on that one tuner.
I am using latest TBS driver for Windows 10 x64
Any else got this card working ?
I don’t really want to buy Hauppage again, have lost count of the number of their cards that have failed over the years.
I’ve got the same card. I spent a little more to get a better quality tuner a couple of years ago and I’m a bit disappointed that it doesn’t work in Plex. I can’t even find any channels to watch.
I’ve only had one TBS card fail on me but loads of Hauppauge analog, DVB-T and S have bitten the dust so I’m reluctant to buy any more. Technotrend is another tuner that I have also found to be very reliable.
I have now installed NextPVR server with Comskip and Kodi Matrix (V19 RC1) client with the NextPVR plugin.
So far so good, delivers more than 4 tuners worth of simultaneous watching and recording and also commercial skipping.
