Running plex server: Version 1.7.5.4035
Installed the drivers from their Website. i can see two cards have been installed but also an unkown device has appeared.
i can see the card within Plex but it can not scan channels.
Tv Aerial works, confirmed it on a local TV
Tried the Wintv software but that doesnt see cards or channels?
Must be missing something but unsure. Might try pulling the card and putting it into a test rig with Windows 7 later tonight
A comment in this thread seems to indicate that Hauppauge doesn’t support their products under Windows Server:
Thanks for the Link, Just read it, guess i dont have much choice but to try it in Windows 7 then.
I was able to get it to work under Windows Server 2016 fine! Maybe try upgrading to 2016?
Edit: Side note, Plex did not see the Tuner as having 4 available streams though it only detected 2 Tuners. I believe this is a know issue though.
Edit #2: Nvm found the forum post, the quadHD tuner actually shows up as two/two tuners to Plex:

Found a solution to this yesterday so I thought I would share it with this thread for anyone else looking for the answer. I followed the instructions from this blog and got the tuner working on 2012 R2 with Plex.
