TCL 6 Plex App Crashing w/ Direct Play + Allow DTS-HD

I have 2 TCL 6 TVs, one hooked up to a Denon x1440H. Both are set to direct play original quality from my local server. Recently, I’m assuming due to the Plex app update on the roku OS, the TV hooked up to the receiver has started crashing when direct playing.

The crashing will consist of loading the media to 99% and then crashing the Plex app. When trying to select the Plex app again, the TV will reboot itself. Sometimes it straight reboots the first time.

When changing the direct play option to transcode, no crashing occurs.

I recently tested toggling off the “Allow DTS-HD” option on the TV in question, while direct playing, and the app does not crash. Since the other TV does not have this option (since it does not have any external source hooked up) I can only assume the issue is with the audio transcoding.

I can attach logs when / if necessary.

I can confirm this is happening as well. It keeps crashing the TV.

I’m hoping another update from ROKU and Plex can fix the issue. However even in Plex Preview Channel, the issue is happening as well.

I too can confirm this exact thing happens on my setup. R625 TV with yamaha V6A reciever. DTS MA passthrough works with eARC and my media pc running through the plex app ( pc - TV - arc reciever) Native Roku plex app crashes at 99 percent with MA selected.
