Hey, I have such a problem, I bought a TCL P725 TV with DV and DA support, it is of course UHD and after installing the plexa app, I have content up to 1080p, I have movie collections in 4k and none of this TV plays in this format. In the settings I have the recommended h2 codec … at 4.2, maximum control, and yet I have everything changed to fullhd. The information about the player crashes the message with 4k content not supported by the device, so I got stupid. I don’t know what fault is. On the second Philips TV, everything flashes as it should, this codec is recommended in the settings of 5.2

Same TV with same problem. Install Kodi from the Google play store and then install the Plex video plugin. This will enable full 4K playback on your TV without transcoding.
