The dreaded “Error code: 4294967283”

Recently I repurposed an old WD PR2100 NAS to a Plex server. While the whole setup was quick and easy, when I set up the live TV and DVR function I encountered the dreaded “Error code: 4294967283” on almost all my DVR recordings. None of my Plex clients(Roku, Sony TV, TiVo) will play any of the recorded DVR files. In fact when I examined the files in my DVR directory, all of the .TS files were of 0 length. All the other types of media files(moves, music, etc) stream with no problem.
In reading the forums I discovered this is not a new problem and am surprised it has not been fixed. Listed are the levels for both the Plex media server and the firmware level for the WD PR2100 NAS. I actually went out to the Plex web site and downloaded the Plex server specifically for the WD PR2100 NAS. Am I missing some kind of setting or has this bug simply not been fixed.

Plex Media Server: PlexMediaServer-1.27.0.5849 (Specifical for the WD MyCloud PR2100)

WD PR2100 NAS firmware: 5.22.113

Not sure if the error 4294967283 is general or specific one (looks like 0xFFFFFFF3) but in my case the root cause was no free space on a disk (on server where Plex is installed). Once I freed some space, Plex immediately started to work again.
