The issue of not being able to obtain loudness analysis data

Server Version#:1.41.3.9314
Player Version#:plexamp ios

My PMS is installed on a Synology NAS (DSM 7.1, Intel J3160 1G RAM). I have over 1000 albums in my music media library, and the majority have completed loudness analysis. However, a small portion keeps repeating the loudness analysis, and when using Plexamp, the loudness waveform does not appear. After troubleshooting, I found that the problematic albums have file sizes larger than 4.5G (not an exact number). I have increased the media library cache size to 50G, but the issue remains unresolved. What could be the cause, and how can I solve it? Thank you.

<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

What kind of an album has a size of over 4 GB? I guess that would be a boxed set of FLAC files?

Yes. Additionally, there are music files in DSD format. For example, the music album “Joe Hisaishi Beethoven Complete Symphonies” has a size of 55GB.

I split a music album into several smaller albums to reduce the size, allowing it to pass the loudness analysis. Afterward, I recombined them. This method solved the problem.

That’s new to me, interesting.

Sounds like you found a legit bug, I hope it makes it onto someone’s list. @OttoKerner anything you can do?
