I know I’m in the minority here since mostly only people with complaints come here. But I am warming to the new layout. Making the favorite libraries a drop down with the side addition of library pages instead of a ribbon and bringing back the heart to favorite were much welcomed changes for the technologically challenged family members that access my server.
The libraries are still not a drop down on the left side like it was before. It looked better previously, still not an improvement overall. If Plex truly listened to customer feedback then they would have put the drop down list back on the left instead of in the middle of the screen. The only thing ‘growing on me’ is impatience with Plex and their idiotic changes.
Yes, these new pulldown menus addressed my issues with the new and old UIs (We really need names for these UIs. “New,” “New New,” “Old” are getting too difficult to refer to 
).
My main issue since the “Old” UI has been the difficulty of getting non-techie users to use Browse, Collections. Now in this “New New” UI they see them right up front.
