The server does not allow secure connections even though it is Required (or Preferred)

I have installed the latest beta, and can connect to my server perfectly on localhost/127.0.0.1. However, when I attempt to connect to it from https://app.plex.tv within my local network, I get prompted that the server does not allow secure connections even though in the Settings -> Network it is set to the default value of Preferred. Even setting this to Required does not seem to help.

Any assistance/pointers here would be greatly appreciated.

Looking into this further, it would seem that the HTTPS is not enabled at all on my local install with the latest beta. Attempting to use https:// or port 32433 (as seen in some posts) does not work at all. Reverting back to the latest non-beta release allows HTTPS connections as expected.

OK apologies for the chatter here. I tried to delete this thread but I do not have permissions.

I did try to reinstall the beta again and this time the HTTPS carried over. I think the first time I had remote access on and there might have been something there that might have led to a bad configuration.

In any case, I am good here. On to the next problem. :sweat_smile:
