There was a transcoder error

Two weeks in a row, 9AM Sunday morning, Fox News Sunday shows the error, Meet the Press, starting at the same time, does not.

This doesn’t happen on any other recordings during the week.

Snippet of log and screenshots attached.

Thanks

PS, also some amount of time after getting this error, the system fixes itself (see pic). But when I go watch the show, the first 27 minutes have not been recorded.

Similar issue to mine. Logs for your failure would help determine if our errors are similar. --kennedy101

Log is attached in first post. I also did a later recording, two shows at the same time at 11:30AM, to see if it was a two shows at the same time thing, and those recorded fine.

Until this gets answered, for next week I will try starting Fox news Sunday 1 minute earlier to see if that makes any difference.

FYI, starting Fox News Sunday 1 minute earlier, 8:59 and Meet the Press at 9:00 seems to keep this transcoder error from happening and both are currently recording fine.

I have been having the same issues although it doesn’t happen everytime 2 recordings are starting at the same time.

Found the following common entries on failed recordings in my logs:

Running PMS Version 1.11.3.4803

Been two months and the start recording one show one minute early has been doing the trick. Not a real solution, but oh well.

The problem is, how do you know which one to start early?
