Hello. Having a problem opening plex through the OPEN PLEX function on the Plex Media Server icon. Here are screens of where I’m going and what the error page looks like. Using the PLEX WEB APP on my Windows laptop, I can open to my account. Using my PLEX MEDIA SERVER “OPEN PLEX” option leads me to these errors. This never happens on my other laptop.
No ideas at all on this issue?
I get There was an error signing in - just like yours above. I even trying making a new login, tried from a different computer on same network - then I get page can not be reached. CAN not log in. I keep getting emails on signing up for premium, but how can I do that when it doesn’t work now.
I’m also having problems with FireFox - though if I persist eventually it signs me in. I too am unhappy about being forced to select my default browser on the basis of squabbles between program creators - which is what I see this as - and I don’t have the time, energy or inclination to assign blame.
I also started having this problem about 2 weeks ago. I haven’t changed anything on my firefox or windows. It works on the plex web app (https://app.plex.tv/desktop) but not the way the 1st post shows.
