This just started affecting me today. I’m on Plex For Mac on MacOS.
I’m not adding/deleting any media, just happens randomly and very frequently.

Edit: It looks like the suggest workaround of disabling auto-sync works so far.
- Hit the wrench button on top right (Settings)
- Go to your server settings > Library
- Uncheck the “Scan my library automatically”
- Scroll to the bottom and hit “Save”.
I presume you may also need to disable the other scans depending how often you edit/update your media files etc..
