There was an unexpected error loading the dashboard

Was watching a movie tonight and it started to buffer with a Roku 3. Now I have no home screen and I have the error “There was an unexpected error loading the dashboard”… I rebooted and still the same. I can see all my movies by folders just seems to be no dashboard. Also some movies play and some don’t when they did before. All on the same external hdd. I can network to the dive no problem…

I just had the same issue after I replaced my motherboard in the NAS device after an old one failed. Newer one much faster and more memory. It was all working great before and now I get that “There was an unexpected error loading the dashboard”. I checked the docker and restarted it but nothing. I uninstalled the docker and reinstalled it with no success. The libraries show but can’t seem to edit them and some I get the same error. Any ideas would be great!

This above link shows you how to restore from a backed up file of the database.

I did the restore from a few days back and all is good.
