There was an unexpected error loading this library

I installed Plex last night on my Synology DS418+ NAS - and after overcoming some permissions issues, and understanding what Plex was expecting in terms of file system structure, things began going well…for a while.

I have a fairly extensive music library - about 130GB, and added a library for this music collection. Items/Artists/Albums began to show up in the library, which is a good thing. But, as importing continued - for 6+ hours, now when selecting the library, I see the following message: “There was an unexpected error loading this library”, and a link directing me to the forums…so…I’m here.

What other pertinent data can I provide?
RAM on the Synology was upgraded from the standard 2Gb to 6GB.
CPU is INTEL Celeron J3355.
(2) WD80EMAZ-00WJAT0 Western Digital disks in a RAID1 configuration.
CPU running at 99% - and has been since this library import/creation began.
Plex version 1.9.4.4325-1bf240a65

Any ideas/thoughts/suggestions as to what the issue might be?

additional info - drives are 8TB each - and currently, only about 11% utilized

so - I stopped the Plex service and rebooted the NAS - rescanned the library, and it appears to have picked up where it left off…CPU back yo running at 99%…but things seem to be working

OK - this is continuing to happen. Looks like the Plex server is dropping it’s port, or becoming so busy it cannot respond.

Same issue here

Make sure you are running the latest release (currently 1.9.6.4401)
