Use a more powerful server?
With so little information about the problem I do not see any way to give a better answer.

As Elijah says you need to give a lot more information. But as the tags at the bottom of your posts mentions synology…you certainly need to give details about the files you are trying to play back. Very few nas setups are capable of transcoding… which is what the message you get implies is happening.
I have this NAS : https://www.synology.com/en-global/products/DS216j
He is not powerful ?

I want to watch a video with extension .mkv
In a quick look I did not find details about the processor in that unit but I did see that it says that it is Dual Core 1.0 GHz and that seems woefully under powered for any transcoding at all.
The fact that you are trying to watch an MKV means little as MKV is just a container and we would need to know more about what is actually in the container and what client you are using as some clients are a lot better at playing some formats than others.
Unless I am vastly under estimating the power of your Synology then either you need to convert all your videos into a format that will direct play on your client or you need to run Plex’s server on a much more powerful piece of hardware and just use your NAS for storage.
You know what is the best format for Plex ?

Plex has no “best” format as it is the client (Roku, Fire TV, Shield TV, computer running OpenPHT or PMP, Raspberry Pi running PMP pr Rasplex or a number of other devices) that is the player of the media. You also might be playing directly from a web browser but I strongly recommend against that as it is about the worst way to use Plex.
Plex is a client/server solution where the server simply sends the stream to the client (with transcoding it if needed) and the client puts it on the TV.
