Whenever I want to stream a 4K movie it display me the error:
Dieser Server ist nicht leistungsfähig genug, um Videos konvertieren zu können.
This was never the case before. When I was on a older version everything worked. I dont even know why it wants to transcode media… It is a very comon movie format where video and audio can just be streamed (without transcoding)
Really hate Plex for not havinga feature to FORCE to stream as it is. The player is able to play this video and audio as it is but still “asks” for transcoding because I stream 4K to a 1440p monitor??
The same video before was working flawless!! When I was on 1.18.7.2457-77cb9455c
Why cant Plex make this just work … thats all i ask for
I dont want to convert anything and have enabled: Disable video stream transcoding
But works on PlexMediaPlayer-2.58.0.1076-38e019da (for Windows Home Theater PCs)
Strange … strange. I know my Browser (newest Chrome) can 100% play back the direct file.
Funny thing they work on PlexMediaPlayer-2.58.0.1076-38e019da (for Windows Home Theater PCs)??
Your wrong on this? Why does it work (as directplay) on the App, but have to be transcoded on web-version of player?
I do NOT WANT to transcode and I dont have to! Just streaming the files and play it in 4K is fine… also on a 1440p display!
Thats fine for me… I have 10GbE in my house so whats the problem with this? Files are getting streamed localy, also I do have 100MB/s internet connection so this also is no problem!
Facts: here are no technical issues! Its just Plex who does not want to accept that I dont want to transcode anything!
Thats true. I disabled this option now. - still not working. Also: this would just trigger re-encoding of Audio, which is ok, but not of Video.
My NAS can trnascode all audios, but when it comes to Video its not powerful.
