Congrats to the team on the preview release of the new Plex Experience.
Like a lot of others here my only real interest in Plex is my personal media. The ad-supported streaming and social features are not something I will use. However I understand you have a business reason for pursuing them, and since I want Plex to be around, I’ll live with it.
I only ask for a couple of things.
One, please make use of your new development efficiencies to increase the pace of updates when these new apps become mandatory. With all new apps there are going to be a lot of UX issues and bugs, it is inevitable. And based on past experience, I am worried that a lot of these issues might be hard to get rid of. I am asking for a commitment to an appropriate level of polish, particularly in the field of personal media.
Two, please commit to supporting Music and Photos on all platforms. If you are yanking those features out of the main app, then we need Plexamp and Plex Photos everywhere.
