Thumbnail for a library

I have various libraries of films set up. 

 

Is it possible to have a thumbnail on each. On the main screen I have a generic picture but would prefer a thumbnail to make it more user friendly/pleasant.

Thanks but a bit too technical for me.

Would be nice if they had this option within the standard interface.

I can't agree with that statement. I run 9.10.3 and all my custom icons are fine, and I have no problem changing them either. I have over 30 libraries, all with custom icons for use with my Roku. and all are working as usual with the new version of PMS released earlier this week.

Are they linked to a local image or an online image?  All of mine are local.  The request made for the images are wrong so there is nothing to transcode to create the cached copy.  Here is a post on this topic and my findings are at the end.

Thanks Pruitt for pointing me to look into this more.  Finally figured out the problem, Plex is not reading the local file properly, and a  work around, upload the icons online and link via http.

Sorry I didn't answer sooner. yes, mine are referenced from my photobucket account. Glad you managed to find out where the issue was. :)
