For clarity: Define “Tidal Playlists.” Are you talking about a playlist you created by adding a manual list of songs that happen to be sourced from Tidal, or is it a “smart” playlist based on the custom filter criteria “Track Source” is “Tidal” ? Or are they playlists from within the “Tidal” library specifically?
I’m asking to see if we’re talking about the same problem I have. I’m still unable to use the custom filter criteria to create a list of songs that are Tidal-sourced. I’m on the newest PlexMediaServer-1.15.6.1079-78232c603.
I was referring to the playlists available under “Home\Online Content\Tidal”. I am unable to sort the custom playlists I created or the playlists provided by Tidal. There is no drop down list or any other means in which to sort the playlists.
I attempted the task you mentioned having problems with. I added a couple songs from Tidal to an existing Premium Music Library and attempted to filter the tracks in the library by “Track Source” Is “TIDAL” and no results were displayed. If the filter “Track Source” Is Not “Tidal” is applied all songs including the ones added from Tidal are displayed. So it doesn’t appear to work for me either and acts as though the track source isn’t actually associated with the tracks in anyway.
@JamesD918: Thanks for trying out the Tidal source filter. I wish it worked, but it’s comforting to know I’m not the only one with the problem. I wasn’t able to find a solution in a different thread (Plex tidal integration), so I’m out of ideas. Think I should post the question in its own thread, or just wait for the next server update?
