Plexamp - playlists - freeze / stop when they try to play a (formerly) integrated Tidal track

Server Version#: 4.140.1
Player Version#: 4.8 (6,222), Plexweb

Plexweb throws an error: “Playback Error: Source is unavailable” (options to Skip or Retry)

Not ideal. Would be nice if it would just skip over Tidal tracks in playlists,

Remove them from your library.
There is the advanced library filter “Track source” to help with that.

Thanks for the tip. I do not see a filter for track source that allows me to remove Tidal tracks. There is one that works for Album Source, where I can remove whole albums. Sadly, 95% of my integrations were done at the track level, not album.

Try the web app, not Plexamp.

I was on the web app to remove albums. Tracks is not there. Nor can you filter by any other option than album to target “source = music on Tidal”.

I see this:

Make sure to use the hosted web app, as it is almost always newer than the bundled local version on your server.

I see that too but cannot put anything in that field :frowning:

& thanks for your help BTW!

It should provide a selection of TIDAL content, as long as you still have TIDAL content in your library. It should appear when you click in it.

This does not work if Tidal tracks only exist in a Playlist, and have not been “Added to Library”. So there seems to be no way to remove Tidal tracks from existing playlists.

Agreed. Super annoying.
