Hey guys, I originally had this all working great but I recently switched cable companies from CableOne to Mid Continent and when I run channel scan when setting up the DVR in plex it finds them all and I hit continue but the problem is it wont let me hit continue, like the button is broken and it does nothing at all. Note, if I then change the selection from Midcontinent Digital to just Midcontinent Basic, it allows me to hit “continue” button and starts working but I only get the first 62 channels and I am missing the other 200+. I originally thought it could be cause some of the movie channels had DRM but I went into the HDHR settings and disabled those ones, I am pretty sure it is some kind of Plex software issue within this beta, possibly based on my zipcode or cable company selected. Does anyone have any ideas how to get my other channels to work? They do work correctly if I skip plex and just use the HDHR Viewer app on my PC, so I know things are working right, just not getting them all through Plex. Thanks for the help.
So have you re-run a channel scan from the HDHR setup software first? Wondering is the midconitnent digital line up is all DRM?
I actually figured it out, it was because I was using Internet Explorer and Edge. I switched this morning to Google Chrome and set up the DVR in Plex and went through all the setup, and got to the same point, hit the continue button, and it worked perfectly now. So it was something to do with using IE. Thanks again.

If you look at server settings, library, there is a box for allow media deletion.
As far as recordings edit a show or movie that you have scheduled, click show advanced and scroll to bottom. There to will see the options to delete after watched.
Plex Folks - Is there going to be an update? My Plex is SUPER SLOW and I have have not had any luck yet in actually seeing a recorded channel. IT just dies… See #1 in my original post above…from Oct 30th. I have attached an XML file for details. in that post…

Unable to Play: I am on the most current build. I am able to record but I have never been able to play the recording. Dont know why. Any thoughts? Here is some info from my recording - maybe somebody can spot something here! I have attached the XML file. I have also set the server to “Transcode”. I am running a Synology 1513+
It be nice if plex merged with emby. I really like thier dvr features and grid based channel guide. Is their a licencing issue in using grid based guide? I really would like to see these features. Although I have seen some streaming issues. I really would like to see live tv viewing like emby offers.
I just purchased not just plex pass but also a hdhome run. When I tried to add the hdhome run to my plex server it doesn’t show up as described in other forms. What is going wrong and how do I fix it?
Just got the Homerun Connect and Plex Beta 4 won’t locate the device. Tried the manual IP address of the HDHomerun, but still no luck. I tried opening the firewall on my router in hopes that might help but didn’t seem to. I’m on ATT Uverse, if that matters. I’m connecting through the local version of Plex Beta. Not sure what else to try

Can you connect to the HDHR if you enter the IP into your browser? What firmware version does it report?
Yes, I can access the device in browser and the firmware is 20161117. Should it be in the DMZ of my network? It has a local IP currently and is home network accessible.
I am out on thin ice now! I cut the cord and have purchased both HDHomerun Extend and a Plex Pass…There is no going back now! Looking forward to the Greatness of Plex!
