I have a recently installed Plex server running on the latest version of Windows 10 on a desktop. I have a tivo mini from my cable/internet provider with the Plex client already installed. When I play a video from the Plex server on my TV using the tivo mini I often get the message “unexpected error occurred while decoding the media” and the playback stops part way through. Playing the video 5 times will cause the playback to stop at 5 different places. Sometimes the video will play all the way through with no problem. After the video stops playing I can go “back” and start the video again - after restarting I can even rewind 20 seconds and play successfully past the point which had just halted the playback. The tivo mini is connected using a MoCa connection. The desktop is connected through an ethernet cable directly to the cable box. Any suggestions? Thanks.
