This may be a completely unique Japanese specification.
Anime broadcasts in Japan are broadcast at different times in different regions, and when registering for services such as “The Movie Database,” there is a dispute over whether to register with the Tokyo broadcast date or the date and time of the sanitation broadcast.
Originally, it would be better to specify the file name by the number of episodes, but this is difficult because the titles registered in the Japanese program listings are not standardized.
So, people who recorded in the losing region in “The Movie Database” are shown in Plex’s library by date, not by program content, and this is very unpleasant.
I would like to have the ability to specify {title-hoge} in the file name so that the program content is reflected in the Plex title, as in the multi-version of Plex.
While your use case seems a bit different, your suggestion seems to ask for the same functionality already discussed in another feature suggestion thread. That thread is requesting an option for Plex to pick up the arbitrary text after the season/episode pattern as the title of the episode.
e.g. SPYxFAMILY - s02e01 - Episode Title.ts should pick up the Episode Title section.
I suggest you comment/vote in that thread if that’s covering your needs (and closing this thread as a duplicate). This will help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes if different threads ask for the same feature.
