Hi. I am a Plex user here. I love the software/service. I have several friends who also have Plex accounts, and I’m never really sure which account name that actually goes with my friends. Suggest adding a way for an admin of an individual Plex server account to be able to add an “Also Known As” so we can easily administrate those users. Is anyone else finding it difficult to remember the names of people and their account names?
Thanks for your suggestion. Currently it’s only possible for individual users to set a „real name“ (alias) for themselves. There’s already an existing thread discussing an option to allow users to assign alias to their friends by themselves (and only visible to themselves). Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
