Top User Data Bug?

Top users stats are fading down further in time choice. Started out 24 hours did not show users. A week later now 7 days does not show users. I have to click last 30 days to see user stats that are only hours old. Any way to remedy this?…tks.

Did you perform any manual database operations lately?

Nothing manual…just the normal once a week task.

Could you take a look into your plex data folder, how big your main database file is?

Is the date/time of your computer correctly set? (both server, and the one where you are using the web app)

Main DB is 1.15 GB and PC time is correct.

Sounds about right for a larger media collection.

Still, it can’t hurt to perform a thorough database rebuild.

  • ensure there is plenty of free space on the volume which houses the Plex data folder (by default, on Windows that would be drive C:)
  • Stop Plex server using its task tray icon
  • execute this .bat file in a CMD.exe window: https://github.com/ChuckPa/DBRepair/tree/master/Windows (must be done under the same Windows user login which also starts the Plex Media Server), wait until its completion.
  • then reboot the server machine (you could also just start Plex server, but a reboot is more thorough)

Slowly started to work again about an hour after I posted. But I will take consideration on this as you mention a large DB can bug out. Data could drop again at some point if what you say can happen since it’s large.

I will get the repair to have on hand and give it a whirl when the need arises. Other than that 2 week blip with stats, my plex runs pretty turbo.

Thanks for the helps.
