Early in 2020, an update rendered the Plex app on my Toshiba Amazon Fire TV unable to play the trailers or special features for any of my movies. Right now, I am able to play the main features, but whenever I try to play a trailer, featurette, interview, etc., I get a message saying, “The file associated with this item is not accessible by the server. Please verify that the file exists and that the necessary drive is accessible.”
The main features are in the same folders as the special features and trailers. Why is Plex able to find one, but not the other? Did naming conventions change for trailers and special features earlier this year?
