Are you using Plex Home Theater? This forum is for OpenPHT. It’s basically the same, just rebranded and updated, but has been taken over by the RasPlex team as a third party client and not by Plex, Inc. You can find the links to OpenPHT in the OpenPHT 1.5.1 thread.
To get back to your question, you would get that Search menu like that when PHT can’t find your Plex Media Server. If it can’t find the server automatically, try to put the PMS server’s IP in Preferences -> Network -> Media Server.
Hi Isaac, I am using the latest version of Open PHT - I tried Plex HT and had exactly the same issue
The software is running on the same PC as the server software so it should have no issues seeing it ?
How can I change the config if I cant see any buttons? lol

Press left arrow on Home screen and then select Preferences->Network.

As I had NO MENU, as shown in pic and stated in the Title, that was impossible
I decided to try an uninstaller Util (Your Uninstaller) and removed it using DEEP SEARCH, the normal removal and reinstall made no difference, I then re-installed as ADMIN even though I have UAC turned off, that seems to have sorted it.
Thanks
That skin has a set of menus when you press left on the Home screen that gives you the options NedtheNerd and I mentioned whether you connect to a server or not. Either way, glad you got it sorted.
