I am having the same issue, ATV2(5.2) says "Trailers is unavailable. Try again later." I am using mac mini mountain lion as the PMS, pleax connect is also running from the same server. Using a Fritzbox 7270 router. Create a port forwarding for the default port 32400 on the router for the macmini aka pms. ATV2 dns server address is the macmini's(pms) ip address(192.168.178.26). Default gateway and dns is routers IP 192.168.178.1 . IP's for macmini(pms), atv etc are reserved from the router so it wont change.
Tried insert all the values manually and vanilla plexconnect-master, same result. What am I missing? pls help. logs from both are below

Did you inject the certification file into the ATV? This is now a requirement of Plexconnect working. Please read the “Read Before Posting” stickied thread above for full details.
try updating the ATV to 5.3. that fixed my issue.
5.2 should be fine - still running that myself (I guess).
But... don't COPY/PASTE the terminal output. Create a nice logfile (see link by institute) and attach that.
And yes, I am going to repeat that more often now - if I have to. :-D

Also since the https change, alot of people are having issues with plexconnect locating the trailers.pem file, so can you go to https://192.168.0.12:443 and tell us the results. (I expect you should get a certificate warning, as the warning shows it can find the trailers.pem file)
in the Read Before Posting under "How to report an issue (do not private message asking for support or features!):" it provides instructions for turning logging to high and to then post the logfile not just the terminal screen output.
Hi, i have two days the same problem after upgrading to the new plex media server version.
ATV 3, 5.2.1, 192.168.1.17 - DNS changed to 192.168.1.7
- macbook mountain lion 10.8.4, 192.168.1.7, plex media server installed and upgraded to 0.9.8.50.9.8.5
- macbook mountain lion 10.8.4, 192.168.1.7, plex connect installed as well. used the latest version from git hp - PlexConnect-0.1-iOS-pre5.1
- python ver 2.71
- certifications generated and installed with this tut http://langui.sh/2013/08/27/appletv-ssl-plexconnect/ as well trough apple configurator
- plexconnect folder for trailers.pem in assets, certifications created. Trailer.pem copied
- added the two lines in settings.cfg - port ssl and certfile

Have you tried to pull plexconnect-master? In you log I can’t see it starting the Webserver in port 443 only 80 and I am wondering if that branch had not been updated with the changes
And the version of Plexconnect you provide is ancient. Go to Baa’s github and download the latest version of Plexconnect.

Anyway, release 0.1 is old - very outdated since Apple did the change. I guess, I should create a new release soon-ish...
Take the "latest". Might not be thoroughly tested... on the other hand here are a LOT of people crying out loud as soon as it fails. :-)
He is referring to the Wiki link in your sig which leads you to:

Which is somewhat misleading as Plexconnect 0.1 is indeed ancient.

It seems to be loading up my Plex now, must be every now and then, but I'm still having troubles with channels, bbc iplayer works, however Sky Go doesn't and a number of custom Bundles don't work either, i thought they might be dodgy, but Sky God is from Plex Media Server directly, so that should work... if I open a program in Sky Go or if I open any of the Faulty channels, it just says "Trailers is unavailabe. Try again later" still.

Sorry i forgot to mention that i tried going to https://192.168.0.12:443 like Baa said, but it came up with the are you sure page, so I clicked continue, but it just came up saying "No Data Recieved" in the middle of the page, If it matters, I'm using a Virgin Media Super Hub.

It's now saying something else, before it just said in the middle of the page "No Data Recieved". Now it says "
