Trailers is unavailable. Try Again Later

Hello and thanks for the fast response.

I appear to have Python 2.6.1 (r261:67515, Jun 24 2010, 21:47:49)

Looking through the Install doc's I only see reference to needing 2.5 and above on linux. Is there some other requirement?

For completeness, here is a new log file with "loglevel = High" enabled

You should have 2.7x Python. Not sure if that is the main problem in this case but you should update and find out.

python 2.6 should be okay, as far as I know.

aTV doesn't seem to accept the served application.js. Are you sure

- that the certificate is fine?

- that the certificate is correctly installed on aTV?

- there is only one certificate for trailers.apple.com?

I have generated the certificate a 2nd time - but the symptoms stayed the same

It certainly appears to be installed properly and I saw in the PlexConnect Log that ATV accessed the certificate from PlexConnect during installation

I do only have one certificate for trailers.apple.com

Just installed Python 2.7.5 and that appears to have done the trick - at least I have access to Plex on ATV, now need to do some more testing

Many, Many thanks for your help

Yes, I have seen issues with PrePlay screen display and connection issues with people on 10.6 who do not have 2.7 installed. Glad it fixed it.

Hi, I am trying out the same things as the people above me but still get the "try again later" text.

I'm running PlexServer on my iMac osx 10.6.8 with Python 3.3.2 and latest PlexConnect with Certificate all done with microUSB to my AppleTV gen3.

In the terminal window it looks "good" and no errors really showing. I tuend off Little Snitch to see if that was the problem - but nothing.

What information from me do you need to see what might be wrong?

Thanks.

Doesn’t work with Python 3 and greater. Install 2.7x

i had python 2.6.5 and it did not work. an upgrade to 2.7 was necessary for this exact problem. i found some website mentioning that 2.7 was required so went on with that despite it not being mentioned much officially.

after of course moving over to vhosts i ran into other problems but those were resolved.

so OP, upgrade to 2.7
