Quite frequently when I add a movie to my media files Plex is unable to find the trailer online to add to the extras. This is for recent and old movies.
If I go ahead and put a trailer into the movie folder manually, and label it “-trailer” then the trailer I put in the folder will show up. But then Plex all the sudden seems to find the trailers on the net, and put them in the extras section too.
I’ve tried clearing cache, resetting the plex media server, turning computer on and off, waiting a few days - but it still happens. What prompts Plex to search the web for trailers, and is there a way to sort of poke it, and get it to do an online search for “extras”
