One of the key features of Trakt is the ability to vote on the media you just watched. There are two voting systems available in Trakt, one just gives the media a thumbs up or down, the other enables the user to vote on a scale of 1-10.



I’d love to have the ability to submit a vote once the media has finished playing.



I do believe this feature is available in XBMC.

First of all, if you sync rating with Trakt channel, you just need to rate in Plex (and next sync will push it; /5 to /10)

ONLY way I think this would be possible (and only in PHT) would be to have TRAKT addon in PHT. But, since in Plex, there is already a centralized Trakt in PMS, it cannot be compared to XBMC at all.

So, IMO, the best way and simplest to implement this kind of feature would be for Plex to force a popup asking to rate movie after playback (Plex personal ratings; 5 stars thing) then let sync to the rest....

So, in this scenario, the only issue is that it doesn't popup to rate, users need to rate manually in preplay screen...

just rate the movie inside plex after you watched the movie ;) and activate the sync from plex to trakt (newest-mode). already possible ...

the REAL problem is, trakt, like EVERY FREAKIN OTHER system (imdb, rotten tomatoes etc etc) is based on 10 star ratings ... and Plex thought it would be a good idea to work with 5 stars .. and they are not willing to make it possible to rate half stars  ( 10 point system ) ...
