Tranferring MacOS to Synology - Works but no thumbnails

Hey,

I have followed the FAQ and just moved my server over to Synology from a Mac Mini. It’s doing its thing but I have only one or two thumbnails showing up. All others are missing and just blank frames. I expected these to be there as the data was transferred properly.

Anything I can do or will they come back after the full scan is completed? Just expected them to be there from the start.

This has now been running overnight and not made any difference. I can regenerate the metadata but it would take ages and as the information is there. I don’t see why it isn’t using it.

Thanks. Done that. Permissions were setup correctly from the start as per the FAQ. PLEX library is on an external drive plugged into the NAS. Reads and plays files fine via PLEX.

Library scan completes and refreshing metadata does nothing.

Also I realised that I’m not getting the 2 symbol on previews either. So I deleted the old folder link anyway and they all remained there…except stranger things even though the folder structure remains the same and it is still on the drive.

I think i might keep it on my Mac Mini for now. Not sure my DS415play will be able to handle PLEX - seems quite resource intensive plus I have my CCTV running into it too.
