Transcode failed at various times on almost everything

Server Version#: 1.20.4.3517
Player Version#: PlexWeb 4.43.4 on Firefox

Regardless of client (Web browser, FireTV app, or whatever else) the player will err out citing transcoding failed. When looking at the dashboard, it’s direct playing the video, but remuxing the audio - which seems to be where this all fails. I keep updating the Server hoping for a fix. This is so frustrating.

Server is two Xeon E5-2650s running on 96 GB of ECC DDR4.
Video transcode is handled by an nVidia Quaddro P400.
Server OS is lagging at Windows Server 2012 R2 (because I had actual licenses for 2012 R2, lol).

What logs can I provide to give the best help in solving my issue?

Looking for an answer to this one. It’s gotten so bad lately, we’ll have to resume a movie 3-5 times. Happens at least once on an episode of anime at just 23 minutes. I think it has something to do with scanning the library in the background. Only error I can ever see in the logs is an sqlite error for social media.

I have heard a lot of people complaining of the same thing and I’m not sure I’ve heard much from devs or support.

I just want to be able to watch a show/movie without it erring out all the time.

Yet another bump. I could use any insight here. Literally anything helpful.

Another bump. Took two more updates hoping for a fix. No luck. Still a bugged mess. Really thinking of switching platforms right now.
