When hardware decoding is enabled the plex transcoder will segfault when transcoding recorded TV files off my antennae (.TS files).
Is this a known bug or is somehow a config issue on my part?

I have also seen this issue when trying to transcode with HW. What kind of GPU are you using? For me its a Nvidia Tesla M60. I’m also running Ubuntu 22.04 and PMS version 1.32.7.7621
When recording OTA, (or transcoding for that matter), FFMPEG is not very tolerant of bad data. Knowing this, the first question to ask is how good is the signal you’re receiving ?
As you watch it live on a real tv, is there ever any video breakup ?
That is a great point, yes i do have some channels that drop due to bad signal. Never thought of that causing the issue. But i have also seen segfaults when trying to transcode a 4k movie to 1080p. This might not be the place to report those issues. Any idea where i should start with that?
that is a good question, but all my channels are very strong. the transmission towers are 8 miles from my house, on a mountain and i have clear line of sight. i just checked the signal strength in the hdhome run and it’s 100%:
