Transcoder crashes consistently during recording

I just installed PMS a few days ago, received my SD HDHomeRun quad tuner and set it up yesterday. I’ve tried recording a few TV shows and it consistently crashes after a few minutes, showing a transcoder crash error. See attached logs. The latest transcoder error occurred at 9:53 AM on July 19 (today), and I zipped the most recent log files within a couple of minutes later. I have the latest version (Version 1.13.4.5251) of PMS running under Win7Pro SP1 64-bit. The hardware is a dual-Xeon workstation, HP 820; the Xeons are E5-2630 @ 2.30 GHz with 64 GB of RAM. All files are stored locally in a RAID array internal to the workstation. Last night the transcoder crashed while I was watching a movie, “time-shifted” to allow me to ff through the commercials. Over an hour of that movie had played fine, when it suddenly stopped playing and showed the transcoder error, at which point none of the recorded portion of the movie was still available.
Could this be an issue of insufficient processor power? I’ve thought of buying an Nvidia Shield on which to run PMS, with its own attached external 4 TB hard drive for storage. Would this likely solve the crashing problem?Logs.zip (19.9 KB)

The logs you zipped are only the scanner logs. The main server logs are missing

In future please use the web interface to download all the logs and attach the downloaded zip. If manually done, please copy out the contents of the Logs directory and subdirectories and zip the copy and attach that
