Transcoder restrictions per user

I would like the option to restrict and prioritize transcoding on a user by user basis.

For example on my own server I want only myself and one other person to be able to use transcoding, but I also want to restrict it to one person at the same time. And I want myself to have higher priority over the other. Everyone else should be forced to watch it in the original quality.

I have decent internet speed, but it’s running on an i3 CPU, one transcoder shoots CPU usage up to 90%. I have other stuff running on that server too, so I do not want it to hit 100%, I also don’t particularly fancy overheating and increased fan noise.

Could be a Plex Pass feature. I’d pay for that.

This would be great. Emby has it and it allows me to share with more people. I will allow myself and one other to use it but anyone else and I want it disabled for them.
