Maybe you tried to change something you didn’t have access to.
I googled the error message and the only other mention of this issue says that it happend to them after changing their email address. I think that that’s also happening here? I’ve changed my email many months ago but maybe I didn’t log into my account for that long. If a mod wants to help me with this please PM me and I’ll tell you my info.
With that out of the way I got the new Transcoder and haven’t found any functional regressions. I did some performance tests though and the old Transcoder is considerably faster:

Meaning with this new Transcoder I can only serve up to 2 clients at once whereas in the past I could do 3-4.
Interestingly enough these are h264_vaapi numbers but hevc_vaapi hasn’t resulted in a significant performance pentalty. Which is weird because if I do the transcoding with ffmpeg directly I get way higher performance with H.264:
