CPU: Dual Xeon E5-2670
GPU: nVidia Quadro P2000
GPU Driver Ver: 472.84
Before I get into the issue, I know there are people out there that say we should not be transoding 4K. I understand that…But my point here is if I have enough horsepower to be able to transcode 4K, then I should be able to. And at this point, I cannot even run one stream without buffering, and I’m trying to determine why.
Transcoding 1080p video seems to work fine.
Ever since I loaded plex, I have had issues with transcoding 4K media.
I don’t know if I have a setting incorrect or if it is the fact that I’m using Windows.
If anyone has a similar set up to me, and has gotten the Plex transcoding to work. I would be very interested to hear what you did. Or if anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
