Transcoding DTS to AC3

Hello,

 

I have a problem with playing movies in 5.1 when transcoded .

 

For mkv containing  AC3 , no problem the sound is sent to multi channel on my amp throught the Apple TV.

By cons, when I try to play a mkv in DTS, the sound is automatically transcode by Plex to stereo.

 

Is there a way to transcode it in AC3 in order my amp received it in multi channel ?

 

My config :

- Plex server 0.9.8.4.125 running on a synology DS1513+

- PlexConnect 0.2-2 package running on my synology (package found on this server)

- Apple TV 3

In the Plex/Web settings, go to "Plex Media Server" -> "Transcoder", enable advanced options and check Dolby Digital on Apple TV.

Then, on the Apple TV, you have to go into the options and force Dolby Digital. I'll let you search for it as I don't remember exactly where it is.
