I have a problem with my Plex. When I watch it on browser it does not use the graphics card to transcode while on phone it uses it.
Following this I uninstalled and reinstalled but it still kept the settings and above all did not change the problem.
Ducoup I come to see you if someone could explain to me how to uninstall and reinstall the graphics driver for my cg
I guess that’ll depend on what you’re trying to transcode.
Keep in mind the browser is quite limiting when it comes to media playback and it will require transcoding for more codecs / media types than a native app. If your stream contains a subtitle, that requires to be transcoded, your graphics card cannot handle that. HW acceleration works to transcode videos on their own – but not if it includes burning subtitles into the video.
Before it works very well. I had taken the Plex pass for 1 month to test if hardware acceleration worked well. And it works damn it! All my media works fine.
But since I took Plex Pass for life it hasn’t worked anymore! He no longer wants to transcode with the graphics card but with the CPU. On the other hand, on the phone, it hasn’t changed anything, it uses the GPU well.

You will need to replace the media with H.264 or add a Nvidia card (GT-1050 or better) or replace the CPU with a -7xxx or better
But i have a GTX 1060 6GB
Problem solved.
I finally managed to install the Nvidia drivers for my graphics card and it finally works!
That will do it
