I’m using a Mac as my Plex server. When recording TV using Plex DVR even when using the “transcode while recording” option my files seem to be quite large. Is there any way to adjust the Plex DVR transcoding options so that I can fine tune the conversion?

It does appear to work with a Mac but there was a lot of buiild steps involved to get ffmpeg, comskip and comchap/comcut usable in debian linux. if you don’t need to do any commercial cutting/marking it would just involve installing handbrake and using that as a post process after recording is done.
