Tried everything but Plex Pass audio features won't work

I’ve tried every possible setting that can be set in PMS(pc) as well as PMP(pc) and on my android. I have turned on “Sweet Fades” and “Volume Leveling” on my android PMP and it’s won’t work either. I have tried local play on PMS and PMP as well as PMP for android and none of the new features work. I’ve run every update, changed every setting, but can’t get any of the features to work.
Did I make a mistake deciding to get the Plex Pass so as to manage everything from one place???

These features are only available in the ‘mobile’ apps on iOS and Android.
(And in Plexamp on Windows/Mac)

Have you restarted both your server and these apps, since getting the Plex pass?
And currently it will only work with music streamed from your server, not with downloaded/synced music.

Is your music analyzed for loudness at all?
Take a look at the Plex media info of a few random tracks. They must have a numeric value about Loudness in there.

If it is missing, make sure “Analyze audio tracks for loudness” is activated under Settings - Server - Library

Thank you for getting back to me.

I didn’t understand the features only work in the mobile apps. Until such time as PMS and PMP can make use of the audio features, I get around that by streaming to my android phone and then connect via bluetooth to my home surround sound system. Voila!..all the features I got free from Itunes, I now get to pay Plex for??

Hmmmm.

Are there plans to introduce these features to other non-mobile devices? Not everyone listens to music just on their phones! I have some ShieldTVs and Pi’s that play a lot of music… I have other solutions for this, but being able to do everything through Plex would be nice…

The general intention is to bring feature-parity to the clients (as long as its possible).
However when these particular features will eventually arrive in the other clients is unknown.

Here is something which will at least do leveling and fades on a Pi: Plexamp for Raspberry Pi Release Notes

I did find this for my Pi after posting my comment… it works well for the Pi… at least I got to preview the audio features on something that I own…
