Plexamp for Mobile?

Is this on the roadmap?

I’ve looked at both Koel and Mopidy both of which kind of do the job, but don’t have native clients and are honestly no better than just using Plex for your MP3 collection(s).

Given all the advantages that a Plexpass has (with audio streaming) It’s kind of a no-brainer releasing a native audio client for mobile that does not require using the Plex app (think of it like how Facebook split out Messenger into a seperate app a while ago).

[implemented] Dedicated Plex Music App for Android/iOS

Right now I use Madsonic and Dsub for streaming my music library to my phone. It just works better than the Plex Android app, and this is understandable since Dsub is a dedicated music app. I think Plex can take most of what they already have and add the bells and whistles that a normal music player would have. Basically I think Plex should keep audio and video separate on their mobile platforms. I think Plexamp was a step in the right direction, but obviously that is just for Windows/Mac.
