I have a HDHomeRun Connect tuner. I also subscribe HDHomeRun Premium TV which allow about 40 channels of streaming content from Silicondust through the same tuner and Plex also sees these extra channels in addition to the terrestial antenna stations. The problem is there is not a guide close enough to matching both sources of channels on the same tuner. I can setup the tuner for our area cable company and get a guide for antenna stations. If I choose Directv I can setup the guide for the streaming HDHomeRun Premium TV channels. So I thought I would would add the tuner again as a second tuner and set the guide source as the other source I need. Which it tries to do except Plex wants to use the guide resource I set for it earlier. Can I get around this?
no. plex currently does not directly support it.
and yes. there are 3rd party solutions, but require extra work and applications and costs for you.
also, there are dozens of threads about this already, search or check the plex dvr section/tags.
