Turn Sync permissions on/off for individual servers?

I feel like I already know the answer to this question but I’d like some confirmation.

Is there no way to allow syncing on one server and not another? Since the Allow Sync option is not listed under each individual server but instead as a “global” option below all available servers, my guess is no.

So if this is the case and I’m not just missing something, the real question is…Why?

EDIT: I realize I could technically just deny write permissions to the Sync+ folder but I’d much rather avoid the confusion of my users.

You cannot. Why, I’m not entirely sure. Probably just designed this way and no one’s questioned it before. I know I haven’t seen this asked. If it’s not already there, this would be a good feature request.
