TV can't keep up with 4k

Hi!

I just got the LG OLED55C9 and I’m having trouble with streaming 4K content from my Plex media server.

To get to the point quickly, the Plex client doesn’t simply can’t keep up with the bitrate of the file even though my Wifi is more than fast enough. Additionally, when it isn’t buffering it severely stutters every second or so.
Monitoring task manager I could see that the upload speed of the Plex server never exceeded ~30 Mbps while the TV was streaming a 4K file.

I ruled out:
*The Wifi being the problem; I get 300 Mbps up/down speedtesting from my phone or laptop
*The Plex media server being the problem: I can, without any issues, stream these 4K files on my phone or laptop. Monitoring task manager I could see server’s upload speed exceeding 100 Mbps. There was no buffering. Additionally, I tried using DLNA, and the same issues persisted.
*My TVs connectivity being the problem; Speedtest.net on the TVs browser shows speeds well over 100 Mbps, more than enough to stream the file I want to stream.
*The Plex app being the problem; As mentioned above, the DLNA also doesn’t work. This obviously bypasses WebOS’ Plex app.

Tbh it feels like I ruled out everything being the problem, but something obviously is so I figured I’d throw it on here anyway, maybe someone has experienced this before.

Thanks!

Server Version#: 1.18.1.2019
Player Version#: 4.11.1 (Plex for LG)

During playback, can you go to this URL https://app.plex.tv/desktop/ on a web browser, then click on settings (upper right corner of the page), then on the left scroll down to below your server name, click on dashboard, and then post a screenshot of the now playing section (expanded).

My problem magically went away when doing this for some reason, and that after I really felt like I tried everything before posting this thread… I guess if anything changes I’ll bump here again. Thanks for the help anyway guys!
