TV Episode 1 in two files/parts

Plex will only show and play part 1

any suggestions?

That’s intended. Only one item is supposed to show up in your library. Only during playback, when you reach the end of file 1, file 2 is supposed to play automatically.

Yes, that is what I thought. this is with MASH Season 5 episode 1 pt1/pt2. I have played the episode and it only plays part 1, then plays episode 2 not part 2. Any thoughts?

Which client type are you using?

The -p1 -pt2 technique doesn’t work in all client types. Hence why I recommend to avoid it in general and try to link the parts into one contiguous file. [HowTo]: joining multi-part movies files with MKVtoolnix GUI

I am using Western Digital NAS as the server, and playing with the Plex app on Windows 11. I will try to them, thanks.
