I am using current versions: Plex Web 3.53.7 and Server 1.13.4.5271 and am experiencing an issue with Background images for TV Episodes.

Generally, once a TV Series has a Background image, that same image shows up for each Season and Episode for the displayed background.
I can go to a specific Season and select a different Background image for that Season and that Season display updates accordingly. However, the individual episodes still show the original Series Background.
It would be ideal if the individual Episodes in a Season would inherit from their Season Background setting. However, worse than that, I cannot even manually set the Background for an individual episode.
When I attempt to change the Background image for an Episode, after selecting the image, I get the acknowledgement “this artwork was uploaded successfully”, but the image does not show up as a thumbnail in the UI as it normally does. Despite this, I do click on “Save Changes”, but the displayed Background does not update.
I checked results on Roku and, unfortunately, they are not consistent. A changed Season Background image DOES get populated across to Episodes for that season. On the other hand, the poster for the episode is still showing the poster for the first season. Posters are not shown at all in PMP for Episodes.
I’ve tried the changing all of the naming to be exactly as spec’d in the FAQs and done the Plex Dance, but that hasn’t changed this behaviour.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug, or do I need to generate a “Suggestion”?
