I am running a media server on a Synology ds218play. I have live TV setup using an hdhomerun which all seems to work ok. I am using the media server purely to record live TV to the Nas. Watching is done through other software as the guide and speed of channel switching is better.
Onto my problem…
The TV guide seems to populate fine, but some shows have got the wrong date and time so cannot be scheduled to record. I can see the shows in the grid guide at the correct time, but when I go to record, it won’t, as the date shows as 1 Jan at 01.00. Some shows also appear correctly when looking at the individual episode, but if you click show, all episodes show as 1 Jan too. How do I resolve this?!
I can look into the issue if you provide the following information
country and zip code entered during DVR setup
name of lineup selected during setup
airing date and time and channel number/name
the name of the series / program and what is wrong -what you see and what it should be
First I suggest doing a full manual guide refresh through server / settings for Live TV and DVR and on completion of the refresh, check if the issue remains. If not, provide the information needed to investigate
Looking again after the update, it appears to be every show that has the wrong date and time.

Lineup selected UK Freeview west, or National. It happens on both.
Happens on all shows, as a selection, when searching - Match of the day, it brings up all episodes from the guide but all have air date of Jan 1 at 01.00. That is on BBC 1 or BBC 1HD on Saturday at 22.20. Paw Patrol daily 08.55, Peppa Pig, Shane the Chef, all on Channel 5 HD have the wrong times too. Seems to be everything I search for now.
I have deleted and readded the hdhomerun tuner multiple times, rescanned channels and refreshed the guide. I’ve also updated the server since I tried out Plex and the problem persists.
