Everything seems to be working fine, except that all recordings the plex dvr makes all have the date of the day before it was recorded. So, recordings made on 4/15 will be listed by plex as having been made on 4/14 and so on. The date and time on the computer are correct. Very strange. Any suggestions on how to fix?
I am having this exact same issue. The date on the recording are a day behind what they actually are. I am running the latest version of plex. I have several servers and they are all doing this same thing.
I am also having an issue with the channel guide information being incorrect for my zip code. I have commented on this issue in a previous post 11 days ago, and not one person has looked at it.
I hope both of these issues get looked at, and they both very much affect the Live TV/Recording portion of Plex.

Unraid using Binhex-plexpass.
Saw same issue on previous release of Plex too.
I checked the date on server by bringing up Binhex-plexpass console and issuing “date”.
Per suggestion in another “date issue” like this one, I have tried changing Settings/General/Agents to check/uncheck “local Media Assests(TV)” and move them up/down in list and no change.
Would like someone to look into this issue.
I was having a simmilar problem, although for me it seemed to be my that way on my provider feed, as I noticed the issue on my TiVo as well.
I am seeing the same problem.
Have the same problem, however mine seems to be limited to ABC News. If I manually change the air date and lock the field it overrides my change and rolls back to 31-Dec-1969. Perhaps the “69” reference is other issue Plex had…
This may be related to the same problem listed here, however my recordings seem to be stamped with the date a day further into the future!
As an example: Here’s my recordings for 4/21
And if I click on the News 4 at 10, here’s what I see:
This was totally confusing watching the news since it shows up as 1 day into the future - unexpected since I don’t own a Delorean with a flux capacitor! 
The recorded file names are also named into the future.
I think this coincided with the update to the latest PMS Version 1.26.0.5715
I tried refreshing DVR guide data, thinking perhaps this was a ripple in the guide data spacetime continuum, but that did not fix the issue. Time/date on PMS PC is correct. Could this be timezone related somehow?
I’m seeing the same thing for NBC Nightly News With Lestor Holt it’s showing 2022-E108 for today(4/19) but that episode number is for 4/21 on thetvdb.
The episode number for 4/19 should be 2022-E106
I have DVR recordings that display one day in advance when using the Plex EPG. It’s not a huge deal but it was brought to my attention none the less…
Not sure if my XMLTV setup is doing the same thing…
This issue is still ongoing - we’re 2 PMS versions later now, same issue. I wonder how Plex decides that a release is ready to come out of the beta channel, since clearly there’s a reported and unaddressed issue related to the version… Maybe @anon18523487 can help us with reporting this to the dev team?
Same issue here, and I see there is no solution. Just keeping this thread alive so that the dev team will fix it.
I’m running PMS Version 1.26.1.5772 on Windows fwiw - still happening. It’s also not a specific channel, it’s happening on multiple channels.
Same problem here. PMS on Windows 2019, Charter/Spectrum cable in New England.
Yeah, this is pretty annoying. All my Jeopardy recordings have dates that match Sun…Thu showings rather than Mon…Fri. Thus, it always looks like there is a missing recording for the newest episode.
Problem is still occurring here as well on a synology 918+ setup. Hope someone is looking into it at Plex. Also there is no metadata for most recorded shows and just shows up as an episode number or date.
We are aware of the problem and working on a fix.

I’m having same issues with the DVR Recordings showing in the META data as being a day before it was actually recorded. I’m finding though that if I do a REFRESH METADATA to the recorded show it corrects the date. I think this is some sort of META Data issue that is being captured at time of recordings that Plex needs to fix.

I know Plex isn’t focused on DVR’s these days, but I hope they look at and reply to this thread of their customers having this issue very soon.
Apparently this was also causing problems with the garbage collector. I had something set to delete items older than 30 days, or something like that, and when Plex thinks the item was from 1/1, it would immediately delete after recording.
