TV guide has stopped updating on Apple TV

Guide was fine yesterday but now just gives generic channel names.

Same here. Also UK with Apple TV app and MacOS Server on latest versions.

Same here (Scotland, UK) with Apple TV and iOS apps. Works fine in web app via Safari.

A bit more info:

  • Media server version is 1.25.2.5319 on a well specced home theatre PC
  • TV card is Hauppauge WinTV QuadHD
  • Player is all Apple apps (IOS Iphone version 7.26 as an example but Apple TV Apps are latest version)
  • Unsure where to find info regarding the TV guide, but it is for UK, East of England (East Anglia)

The exact nature of the issue is that up until before minute on 31st Dec 2021, the TV guide was working as expected. On entering Plex the next day using the Plex App on my Apple TV box and expecting to look through the guide to select a program, the channels appear on the left hand side as usual, but rather than a schedule for each channel, I just get a channel name, and no schedule.

I have deleted the apps and re-installed them but the same occurs, and have checks all Apple devices and the issue is the same. I have checked the TV schedules on PCs and laptops connected to my HTPC with Plex, and I get the TV guide and schedule, so this seems to be isolated to just Apple devices as best as I can tell.

I do use the guide to schedule recordings, so it is effectively making the live TV functionality pretty useless at present.

Appreciate staffing might be low due to Covid and holidays, but it would be great to get a response.

Please respond if you need any more info to address the issue.
